Digital dentistry solutions provider Chamlion scores $34M in Series B funding
Chamlion, a Chinese company focused on dentistry digitalisation, has obtained 236 million yuan ($34.3 million) in a Series B funding round led by 3H Health. The round was also participated by Vertex Ventures China and Zhencheng Capital.
The company is building an end-to-end digital service platform for dentistry. It also offers a cloud printing service model that connects dental 3D printers to the Internet.
Based on a press release, Chamlion will use its fresh funds to further promote and upgrade its existing product line. To date, the company raised 400 million yuan ($58 million) in funding.
Omron Healthcare India announces tie-up for RPM platform
Omron Healthcare India is foraying into the remote heart monitoring and management segment via its collaboration with health AI company Tricog.
The companies will be launching TriCare, a remote patient monitoring and management platform that combines Omron’s connected monitoring devices and Tricog’s AI-based health data analytics capabilities.
According to a press release, this platform will enable the monitoring of heart conditions at home, as well as timely interventions, including the detection of risks of cardiovascular events.
AIIMS Delhi to develop hospital navigation app
Over the next three months, the All India Institute Of Medical Sciences in New Delhi is launching a hospital navigation app.
A news report citing the hospital director’s order noted that the mobile app will help both visitors and those seeking treatments to not get lost around their buildings.
The app is expected to be hosted on the cloud, work on both indoor and outdoor settings, and provide directions while offline.
It was also noted that the hospital director wanted the app to be accessible and available in all Indian languages.
